E-Cert is Vero Marine and Aviation's exclusive on-line marine certificate issuance system. It enables clients to create their own import or export certificates electronically via the Internet 24/7 and to download statistics.
It saves broker administration costs and eliminates responsibility for securing negotiable documents.
E-Cert is available to all our clients who need to issue Import or Export Certificates. All the client needs is a PC, access to the Internet and a User Name and Password from Vero Marine and Aviation. Clients who use Ozdocs can take advantage of the E-Cert interface that issues the certificate without re-keying and gives all the advantages of up-to-date policy and overseas settling agents’ information.
E-Cert is very easy to use. Anyone who can fill in a Certificate manually will be able to use E-Cert. We will provide full training and there is also an on-line help system. Of course, Vero Marine and Aviation staff are always available to assist.
Why should a client use E-Cert?

Simply ask your local Vero Marine and Aviation Branch. They will set-up the client’s standard coverage conditions (as per the Policy) and provide a User Name and Access Code.
What happens to the Certificate once it has been produced on E-Cert?
A Certificate is initially produced as a draft which can then be sent to a third party eg: Bank, for checking before it is issued, which gives the client control and minimises errors. (A Certificate can easily be edited in the Draft System but once a Certificate has been issued (Status Final) it can only be cancelled by Vero Marine and Aviation.)
Once the Certificate is finalised, the client can print it or email it to the appropriate party.
